The Singer Who took a Stand

Recently R&B singer Tyrese was kicked out of a Delaware radio station because he thought it was a shame that a liqour store was right across the street from an elementary school and told them so ( on the air). He not only mentioned that but he asked the radio station to take a stand because they have the power to make a difference. But it didn't stop there, not only did the station kick him out but his music has been banned from that station all together. I do not know the name of the station but I think that is a little extreme. Yes, Tyrese brought awareness to the situation but their reaction to what he said is taking the situation to a whole other level. This has been posted on websites, such as, BlackPlanet and TMZ, and Tyrese has also made his twitter followers aware of what is going. But my question is what are the citizens of that area going to do? In this modern world we no longer have great ones like Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, W.E.B. DuBois and the like. But all it takes is one person to make a difference and Tyrese has made a difference in Delaware. Rather they decide to close or boycott the store that is totally up to the people there, but whatever they decide to do they will always remember the singer who took a stand for what's right.
