The author was recently diagnosed with a chronic illness Myasthenia Gravis. A rare autoimmune disease that causes extreme muscle fatigue throughout the whole body. The disease can cause adverse effects on the way a person walks, talks, and at it's worse it affects a person's breathing. She shares her journey through her diagnosis including all the highs and lows during this experience. Adjusting to going from an able-bodied person to a new "normal" way of life with this illness. Learning how to cope as she goes through this experience while facing uncertainty and death. The author takes you on the roller coaster ride of her life. The disease causes her to deal with issues that affect her whole being, physically, emotionally and mentally. In spite of it all, she lives to tell her story and claim victory over this disease.
